Once a claim has been received, you
will be given a claim or reference number. Using the claim number will help expedite the
handling of the rest of your claim. Please include the claim number with all future
correspondence.
In order to process claims quickly and
for the least cost, it is extremely important that all claims be reported immediately.
Failure to report a claim as soon as is practicable can increase costs and in some
instances can jeopardize possible coverage. While it is important to gather as much
information as possible, report the claim immediately to your agent and provide the
information that is available. Follow-up will be done as necessary.
Important: If a lawsuit is
served to you, this must also be reported immediately to your agent.
